PhD Defence Successfully Completed | Yura Song, PhD

I’m happy to share that I successfully defended my PhD on 15 April.

This milestone reflects nearly a decade of academic and personal growth since I first moved to Belgium in 2018. What started as a new opportunity has become a defining chapter of my career, shaping both my scientific path and my perspective.

I am deeply grateful to Cedric Blanpain for his guidance, trust and continuous support, as well as to all my colleagues and collaborators who contributed to this journey.

Throughout this experience, I had the opportunity to develop as a scientist, contribute to publications, engage with the scientific community and expand my expertise across disciplines. More importantly, it has strengthened my curiosity, resilience and commitment to science.
